Cub Scout Pack 300 is an all-volunteer driven organization. We rely on both parent contributions and volunteer time and money to help the pack be successful.

About Pack 300

Cub Scout Pack 300 is currently chartered with the Friends of Scouting in Avon Indiana.

We serve children in 1st through 5th grade in the Avon and surrounding area. We welcome children from any school; Our current membership represents several different area public elementary schools.

Our meeting place is the Scout Hut. All children are welcome boys and girls!

Our Pack is part of the Five Creeks district in the Crossroads of America Council.

Volunteer Information / Leadership

Cub Scouting is a family oriented program and the pack is operated completely with parents and volunteers. The leaders of the pack must have strong support from parents to continue to provide a great scouting experiences for the children. The positions within the pack are listed on this website, in addition to the leadership roles, we ask all adults to help with at least one event or fill a position. Please take time to consider being a volunteer and how you can best help the pack and the scouts. After all the pack is for the children and only with strong support from the parents/guardians can we have a great scouting experience!

Many of the leadership positions have training and resources available to use. Mentors are available to help with transitioning from one position to the next and to help train the incoming leaders.  Please visit our Leader Information page for more information.

Our Pack Mission

The BSA Cub Scout program has always been a fun and educational experience with a focus on values. Our mission at Pack 300 is to provide a positive place and program where youth can enjoy safe, wholesome activities of Cub Scouting while focusing on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service.

Our goal is to ultimately deliver the mission of the Boy Scouts of America in our own local community—to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Keep it Simple, Make it fun – The Cub Scout way!
